Dr. Timothy Zakrajsek
Dr. Zakrajsek grew up in Hibbing MInnesota, He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree (D.C.) from Northwestern Health Science Chiropractic University in Bloomington, Mn in 1988. He holds licenses in Minnesota and Wisconsin Dr. Zakrajsek has had training in the following areas; physical therapy modalities, Post Graduate Orthopedics ,Diversified Chiropractic Techniques, and imaging.
Timothy Zakrajsek uses chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning. Dr. Zakrajsek takes a "whole person" approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Dr. Garness received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1990, following her undergraduate degree at Luther College in Decorah Iowa . She has taken additional courses in treating soft tissue injuries along with Nutritional and Functional Medicine. Dr. Garness, a Wisconsin native, moved to Duluth for the quality of life the community has to offer. She is married and has 2 sons. Dr. Garness believes in treating the body as a whole, using evidence-based treatments for optimum care for her patients. Her practice focuses on Nutrition, core stability, eliminating soft tissue restrictions, establishing appropriate joint positioning and alignment with chiropractic adjustments to support joint positions, stability and movement.
Dr. Garness' mission is to provide personalized, quality chiropractic care with an emphasis on preventative measures and patient education.
